Great Boat yard by SCOTT M. at InsiderPages
This is a great Do It Yourself boat yard. They are very conveniently located across from the inlet. All the personnel are very helpful when it comes to asking advice on how to do things

Cracker Boy Rip Off YARD by David H. at InsiderPages
OK let me start by saying that the yard itself is run great, the yard crew headed by Oscar are efficient, courteous and knowledgeable. If you need something ask and it will be done, they will work with you on the best time to come in and out with the strong tidal currents present. HOWEVER the management are a different prospect all together.Once you boat is hauled they make you sign what I believe is an illegal and unenforceable contract, basically making you accent liability for anything and everything that could happen and releasing themselves from any liability even if they are negligent. They insist on you buying bottom paint and Marine supplies from them only. If they think you are not buying enough they will slap a fine on you and threaten not to launch your boat if you don't pay up. We were launching on a Monday, they were closed over the weekend and on the Friday told me they couldn't supply the bottom paint I wanted until Monday morning, that would have meant a further wait of 2 more days at over $50 per day. So I had no option but to get a gallon elsewhere. When I went to pay they demanded I pay them $300 dollars for not buying paint from them ( I bought over $120 of other stuff!) and when I complained they threatened to remove me from the yard, force me to stop work and refuse to launch my boat. BEWARE they are likely to try to RIP YOU OFF tooNow I have a court date with them, they are proud that they have been taken to court by a number of previous clients, I spent 1.5k with tehm, couldnt get out of there fast enough.Great yard guys ,just not worth the effort
